You see, something that looked a lot like a dragon tried to eat Eric Rice. While he was distracted (trying not to get eaten), something ELSE stole his starship.
Now he has to find his ship. Oh, and it might help if first, he got the dragon's tooth out that is jammed right through his hardsuit and into his ribs because dying would tend to hinder that effort.
Some days it just doesn't pay to stick your head out the hatch.
