Book: Fractured Glass - A Novel Anthology by Jo Michaels

Jo Michaelsabout this book: This was such an exciting book to conceive and write! I'm gonna give you some inside information on the process.
I put out a call for submissions to a collection of novellas. Many responses and samples came through for me to read. In the end, I chose four other authors to take part in the anthology. Well, it grew into something totally different once we all got together and started talking. Rather than having five 20k words novellas, we ended up using the same set of characters in a 100k word novel. Each author penned around 20k words.
Not only did we do something that had never been done before, we each got to take our reader through a different genre under the same roof of young adult science fiction. Inside, you'll find paranormal, horror, fantasy, magic, and romance. It's a whirlwind of a ride.
Our title came after we decided on the main characters' names: Sloan and Harley Glass. Twin sisters that can traverse through worlds known as fractals. There you have it, Fractured Glass.
We met at utopYA Con in June of 2014, and our novel was published December 24th. I learned how to use Google Drive, what working with other authors felt like, and got amazing insight on how their brains worked.
Readers can't stop talking about how seamless the book is (though the editors did a fantastic job of preserving each author's unique voice). It's not a time travel book, it's more about parallel worlds. Try it; you'll love it!
