Julie Perry

Author Julie Perryabout this book: Collusion And Revelation is the thrilling conclusion to Collusion and Equity where the heroine's grandfather at the beginning of the twentieth century wins some prime land in a poker game in New York and its consequences. The story continues around the heroine, Danielle. Happy for the first time in ages life seems to be going well for once, but how long will this last? Will she be able to survive the tragedies that befall her? Will she cope with the revelations that present themselves, some abhorrent whilst others just filling her with dread? Protecting her family is paramount but will she keep them all safe from her estranged step mother's family? Surely she cannot face any more traumas especially after the loss of her parents, but uncertainty is a word she has had to learn to live with. Complete happiness has always eluded her but is this about to change? The challenges that she is about to face will leave her mentally and physically drained. Will it make her a stronger person? Only time will tell or will she too be murdered?

The books are romantic thrillers and I suppose most appealing to a female audience but there is a lot of intrigue and suspense. They are not typically "boy meets girl books" so if you like a strong story that is involved with lots of intrigue and mystery then you will not be disappointed. You do, however, have to read both books to fully understand the revelations that unfold. If you want more information behind these books look for Collusion And Equity.

The front cover portrays the heroine but this time the playing cards are falling to the ground depicting the denouement.

I have given a sample of the book below.

• Chapter Fifteen

Anton Labko stood tall with a mop of thick hair that had turned silvery grey over time. He had a gentle composure about him and the bluest of eyes, still as clear as if he was forty years younger. He was still good looking and if you were to guess his age, 55 would have been a more appropriate figure; clean-shaven and dressed immaculately in a suit, the cut of which, with its detailed stitching, radiated Saville Row distinction. His fortune exceeded most people's expectations. It was reported to be somewhere around the $27 billion mark, with an art collection worth in excess of $500 million and a diamond collection worth $300 million; and yet here he stood a mere mortal surrounded by a lifetime of speculation and intrigue.

There was a hushed silence in the court room as the sun streamed through the windows casting rays of light across the main players; it was like a Broadway show with each star demanding their own spotlight. Labko's answers were very precise his diction soft but clear. The formalities over the real questioning began and with it the heightened attention of everyone in the room as they hung off every single word as it was spoken.
