Ellie Edenabout this book: A laptop is an open window into your home. Take care who comes creeping in. I wrote LETTING EVIL IN when I realized the danger of opening up your life to perfect strangers online. Because not all strangers are perfect. Some are predators you wouldn't want to meet -- and probably wouldn't meet except you entered a chat room and there they were. Waiting.
In LETTING EVIL IN, Kristi's husband spends the cold NJ winter in a steamy Brazilian chat room and exposes his family to danger and a murderous drug lord.
When Michael, the husband, disappears in Rio, Kristi and her young son go there, desperate to find him. But Michael has linked up with Nara, a wild young drug dealer, and drawn the wrath of a ruthless drug lord. And soon Kristi is way out of her league in an exotic but crime ridden city. She turns to Tony, a totally hot Italian/Brazilian federal agent. But Tony comes from a powerful and politically corrupt family and has his own agenda. Can she trust him? When her young son is kidnapped, Kristi is on her own in the slums and jungle of Rio de Janeiro. With a cold enemy plotting against her.
I love reading Romantic Suspense and Thrillers. Particularly those with a twisty plot. The next best thing to hot romance is reading or writing about it. Its such fun to be totally petrified while reading a book! I also favor strong, protective alpha heroes, but finds murderous but good-looking bad guys fun too, at least on paper. Writing about them is a thrilling trip to the dark side from the safety of the living room. And why not escape occasionally into an exotic, preferably crime-ridden, location? And then, of course, there's the romance. With the dreamy guy you invented - really there are a lot of advantages to being a Romantic Suspense writer!
I love you love my newly released ebook LETTING EVIL IN. And do let me know if yo've had any creepy online experiences! Best wishes -- Ellie firstname.lastname@example.org
