Book: Trust ME by Nora LeDuccategories: Book, Cozy, Sweet, Mystery, New England, Stalker, Romantic Suspense
Nora LeDucabout this book: Fascinated with an article I'd read about Bernie Madoff, I considered the question who do you trust when your loved ones and close friends betray you? The more I considered how you would live and who you could confide in, the more the book Trust Me took shape in my mind.
My main character, Ela Danforth worshiped her father, only to learn he was a fraud and committed a crime so great people spit on them in public. Like one of Bernie Madoff's children, she changes her name and tries to distance herself from his reputation, but learns that in the world of social media, she cannot hide. Instead, a mysterious stalker threatens her refuge, just as a charming lawyer, Nash McCain, enters her life. But she wants nothing to do with either though now her life is threatened.
I chose the cover for Trust Me after much searching and because I believed it could portray an innocent encounter or an unwelcome visit with deadly consequences.
Trust ME is a romantic suspense that readers of romances and mystery will want to add it to their TBR pile.
