Book: Hurricane Crimes by Chrys Feycategories: Book, Hurricanes, Romance, Crime, Florida, Weather, Mother Nature, Storms, Romantic Suspense
Chrys Feyabout this book: I got the idea for Hurricane Crimes on Christmas morning 2011, after I finished reading a book that took place during a blizzard, but since I've never been in a blizzard I thought: What about a story that takes place during a hurricane? I started writing before Santa was even back at the North Pole.
The hardest aspect of writing Hurricane Crimes was capturing the intensity of category 5 Hurricane Sabrina. When Beth Kennedy goes outside, into the inferno of rain and wind, I had to rely on my memories of when Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Ivan attacked Florida back in 2004. I also had to stretch my imagination, as I've never stood outside while a hurricane was in full swing.
Suspense readers will have fun trying to figure out if Donovan Goldwyn is a murderer or not, romance lovers will relish in the passion between Donovan and Beth, and avid readers of all kinds will no doubt enjoy a couple of hours of captivating reading, as Hurricane Crimes is short but thorough story that'll lock you in on the first page.
