Nina Loardabout this book: A romance with the suspense of a thriller. Who can resist two handsome bad boys, a brave and funny female character and lots of diamonds?
If you enjoy a romance with a strong plot you can get lost in, then STOLEN SKYE is for you. It's my first attempt at writing for other people and I created a cast of characters that I fell in love with. I hope you enjoy them as well.
Our heroine, Evelyn, suffers from retrograde-amnesia after a car accident. Unfortunately, she's forgotten almost all of her romp through Europe after she dropped out of her semester abroad program in London. We meet her a few years after the accident, on the day she loses her job at a failing hotel in Newport, Rhode Island. Coincidentally, it's also the day that valuable paintings have been stolen from a mansion nearby.
Evelyn crosses paths with her past and is reintroduced to a forgotten gang of experienced thieves who were once counted amongst her friends. After she travels to London to learn more about her time there, she realizes that she has misplaced her take from their last heist together. As she struggles to understand how she chose to become a part of such a colorful group, she fights her growing attraction to the Irish con-man, Finn.
She eventually finds herself wrapped up in a plan for their next job in Paris and drawn more and more to a life nobody could have predicted for her. Distracted by her building passion for Finn and the constant attempts at understanding their cold, intriguing leader, Ari, Evelyn fails to see the danger approaching until it's too late.
With a surprise ending that will leave any romance reader speechless, STOLEN SKYE, the first book of THE SKYE TRILOGY, is certain to please.
