George A Bernsteinabout this book: "A 3rd Time to Die" is a romantic suspense novel, centering on Past Lives and rebirth.
In the prologue, 2 lovers in 17th Century England sneak into a forested glade for an illicit affair…and they are brutally murdered. As new souls, they rediscover each other in 19th Century Philadelphia, unaware of their past lives. The picnic in a forested meadow…and are brutally murdered. Now, in the 21st Century, each mired in troubled marriages, they once again discover each other…and thier killers are once again stalking them.
The books cover related to the female protagonist confusion as she jumps her newly acquired horse in Open Competitions. As she begins competing, the course seems to morph into an old oaken forest, jumping real stone walls, hedgerows, fences and creeks, while a voice in her head exults in perfect French…a language she doesn't know. As a 17th Century French Countess, she was an expert and fearless horsewoman.
The cover depicts her jumping from the show ring into the forest.
As research for this novel, I personally experienced hypnotic Past Life regression, to better understand the mechanics. It was a "life changing" experience.
