Book: The English Daughter by Lindsay Townsend

Lindsay Townsendabout this book: 'The English Daughter' is a romantic suspense set in Corfu. In this story I wanted to explore the impact a murder has on a family. I also wanted to show the developing romance of Val, the heroine, with Harry. Val is a widow with a young child and theirs is a friends-to-lovers relationship. I set 'The English Daughter' on the Greek island of Corfu, which I've visited. The elements of tragedy, retribution, revenge and family seemed particularly fitting in the country which gave the West tragedy as a form of drama.
Here's part from a review from Amazon.co.uk:
• "This is an edge of your seat type mystery set in Corfu. The story of an estranged family, an old murder and a new one, it resonates with passion and is full of odd trails that set your mind buzzing."
This is a re-issue of a romantic suspense that was published by Severn House. I chose the cover that appears on the kindle version for a particular reason - this is a photograph of the site where, in the novel, a murder victim is found.
As well as the ebook, there is an audio version here. You can read chapter one here.
