Joss Landryabout this book: Katherine (Kat) Bonner is tall, athletic, and can usually exact good behavior from any wild steed. She is well on her way to becoming a horse whisperer, yet her second-cousin Pierce bucks her at every crack of the whip.
When a seedy stranger show up at Bonner-Willow ranch one morning, Kat discovers that she is adopted and her world crumbles to little pieces. She wonders if she will ever find her roots or be able to make sense of her life again. Kat turns to Pierce for help.
The story of Mirror Deep came to me one day while I was writing another novel and watching a match in a tennis grand slam event at the same time. Perhaps all this action created a short circuit and fried my brain, or perhaps I wrote the story because I love horses; I even raised them for a time. I also enjoy a good mystery with lots of twists and unexpected turns. Of course, no story would be as sweet without the added spice of a little love sprinkled throughout. I find that the undeniable attraction of two people in love creates a well balanced harmony between romance and mystery.
In my mind, this story appeals to everyone from teanagers to more mature people such as myself. Therefore, I suggest you pick up your copy so you can let me know what you think.
