Tori Scottabout this book: Lone Star Justice is a romantic suspense about a woman forced to leave her small town as a teenager, and who later returns when her daughter's life is threatened because she knows it's the safest place to hide out. Everyone knows everyone, and a stranger is immediately noticed. But going back has consequences, like having to deal with the past and the man she left behind.
Greendale, Texas, is a composite of several communities in the area where I live. It's a quiet community where life is peaceful and quiet--most of the time. It occasionally has its moment of intrigue, however. It also has some great characters and a real home town feel. I tried to bring those to life in this book.
This book is for adult readers who like romance, mystery, thrillers, series romances, and westerns. They will find some of each in Lone Star Justice. There are a couple of sex scenes, however, that make it inappropriate for younger readers under the age of 17.
