M. Handyabout this book: "And... The Mirror Cracked" is a blend of romantic-drama, crime, and scandal that takes us on an entertaining and relatable journey. Just a few, short chapters in, we are introduced to Gary Williams, whose easy charm is the source and trigger of our main characters undoing. Here, is where we embrace the ever-evolving results of our own choices.
Further in, we experience a reintroduction to main character, Deborah Burrows, plus new interest, Curt Castillo. The two are different in age, background, and color yet, manage to love, work, and coexist in a realm of common purpose.
Without giving too much away, there are rich and influential figures, who play pivotal roles along-side the average joe and the gender confused... The blend of colorful characters yield a smooth, thought provoking, page-turner that you wont soon, forget.
I suppose the most challenging aspect of writing this story was exposing the emotional bruising incurred, when we insist on doing things our own way. However, when the story unfolds we see that it is the strength derived from overcoming challenges that allowed these characters to take down an evil monster.
