Tammy Rugglesabout this book: Elephants and Donkeys is a short romantic comedy about a conservative girl and a liberal guy. They are crazy about each other, but are so passionate about their beliefs that sometimes they'd rather be right than in love.
Do you know a couple like this? They have the makings of a great relationship. The romance is there, the chemistry is there, the attraction is there. They are just too proud to put the other first. So they end up being off and on, in and out, come and go.
I think Mary Matalin and James Carville have it going on better than the characters in this story, John and Reagan.
It could be the premise for a really funny situation comedy, but it may have been done already and I missed it.
If these two could just learn to let their hair down and relax, they would enjoy each other a lot more. But the twins known as politics and pride keeps raising its ugly head and has to ruin everything.
