Yashodhara Lalabout this book: Sorting Out Sid is the story of a 36-year-old man in New Delhi - the capital of India - and the mid-life crisis that he's going through.
On the surface, he looks like he has it all - a great career, a 15-year long marriage and a circle of close friends. But underneath it all, his life is actually falling apart - with his marriage on the rocks, a job that he secretly hates and back-stabbing friends.
When Single Mom Neha appears in his life, it looks like she's bringing a ray of hope into it - but she might just cause the brewing storm to finally erupt.
But then, no one said it would be easy sorting out Sid!
I've really enjoyed writing this story because it involved getting inside of a man's head - no mean feat for a woman author. My first book 'Just Married, Please Excuse' was well-received in India and is a largely autobiographical story - this book was more of a challenge because it is a fictional story, and that too, from a man's perspective. I loved writing it and it's got great reviews, so I'm keen to figure out if people in other countries will enjoy it too. I'd love to hear from you with what you thought about it at firstname.lastname@example.org.
