Olivia Williams Ballabout this book: This book is about a love story that I believe every woman would eventually dream of having, just once.
I was inspired to write this story because I love the idea of love, itself. Being in-love, romance. Although I didn't have a particular story in mind, before I knew it, this story began telling itself.
It deals with fears and doubts about oneself. It can cause you to look at the flip side of the coin in ways that you hadn't before. It makes you ask yourself, what is it that you really want and why.
Lydia, a thirty-three year old African American nurse is tired of the single life. She feels that she is past-due for a committed and loving relationship. After living six years as a single mother, raising her son alone once she realized that her son's father wasn't ready to be involved in a committed relationship, she wonders if she'll ever meet the-one.
Jerome nearly took her breath away as their eyes met from across the room. When they slow danced, she couldn't believe how strongly the chemistry seemed to rise between the two of them. She felt as if she had known him all of her life. Where had he been...?
Is he really the-one? Or will Lydia run away, because of an unexpected surprise in Jerome's past?
