Tilly Muirabout this book: This is my second book in the Woodbeach Romance novella series. The female character Megan has a very eccentric mother who is very in tune with the universe. I had a lot of fun imagining how such a person would bring up their daughter. Megan grew up always wanting to be like other 'normal' people who were bought up in a loving family home. She had never met her father and thought that finding him would give her the normalcy she desired.
Alex, the male character, on the other hand was bought up in such a normal family home, but very much wished his family were more like Megan's mum. He really does not want the life his family have mapped out for him.
I find it fascinating how so many people always yearn for a different life, and how it changes them as characters. We are all so busy searching for who or what we are meant to be we simply forget to look inside ourselves for the answers.
