Leanora Moore about this book: Heavenly Kingdom shows the journey of Layla Jenkins as her faith in God is test everyday as she juggles being Senior Pastor at Heavenly Kingdom Baptist Church and also being a single parent to her twelve year old son, Terrell. Then Victor Harris reenters her life and shows her what was missing, which was love. This novel show how the past can come back to bite you in the butt, but it also shows that all things can be forgiven if you just ask for forgiveness and have faith.
I was inspired to write this novel because you don't have a lot of romance novels involving female pastors and I wanted to explore that option. My primary readers would be those looking for a happy ending and those that love to read romance novels with a new twist. I came up with the title when I was thinking about Layla and Victor's relationship and how they were looking for that heavenly kingdom, that love that they just couldn't find till they were reunited.
The hardest part about writing this book was trying to show that just because Layla is a pastor doesn't mean she should give up on love and intimacy. I wanted to shine the light on female pastors and what they do in the community. During the writing process I learned that there are many roles that a pastor plays in a church.

I must say that this book was beyond anything I have read so far - the plot and how well the characters showed emotion and held on to their faith in each other and God. [by Asa]
I loved this book because it held my attention. I also fell in love with Layla and Victor. I also loved the emotional roller coaster that Ms. Moore demistrated through out the book. [by Rachel Jefferson]
