Allyson R. Abbottabout this book: Salsa or Die, finds Pam and Jeff, both in their sixties, but both wanting different things. Pam is struggling as Jeff has become a couch potato, since his redundancy and early retirement, however, she wants to enjoy life more and get out and about.
Jeff has become obsessed with saving money, whereas Pam know they could spend some and still manage. These different attitudes are driving a wedge between them which gets bigger, when Pam starts Salsa lessons and learns that there is more to it than dancing.
Attracted by this new 'dirty dancing' and flirticious Victor, Pam begins to wonder if her fourty year marriage is over and it's time to move on. With communication at it's lowest, between her and Jeff, Pam decides to test the water in a new lifestyle, but feels overpowering guilt as she drives to her rendezvous.
Most of my stories are about mature woman. Being a mature woman, helps me to create characters that I hope readers can relate to.
