Allyson R. Abbottabout this book: Realising that she is now 'aging' and has not had a decent relationship in years, Marie starts to work out how she can improve her love life, even if it just means a night of steamy sex. Deciding that her organisational skills are second to none, she attacks the problem in the same way she would in her job as a project planning executer. Hence, her idea of wooing and courting, now becomes a logistical plan of 'set up maneuvers' and 'blatant chat ups'.
Being a well meaning woman, and feeling sorry for her gay neighbour, Richard, and practically bullies him into joining in with her plans, with the sole aim of getting them both partners before Valentine's Day in six weeks time. He readily goes along, but has plans of his own.
Another fun, tongue in cheek, read, especially if you can visualise Hyacinth, from Keeping Up Appearance or Margo, from It's A Good Life. British Humour at its best.
