Graham Meltzer about this book: This is a book about a love affair that I, the author, enjoyed in 2014. It's a true story in every detail. The genre, I guess is Romance Non-Fiction, but it's a book about way more than romance. The themes include: love, sexuality and eroticism; personal growth and consciousness; truth and transparency; spirituality and community; polyamoury and more. To quote reviewer, John Croft, "It is a book of courage, depth and struggle." There are some explicit sex scenes but I don't believe any are gratuitous.
I wrote the book, with the support and encouragement of my lover, because we see that many relationships begin circumstantially and drift without intervention to inevitably founder and fail. Our approach was to begin and continue with deliberation and consciousness - to purposefully design and steer our relationship whilst diving as deep as we could go into love, sex and intimacy. We wrote the book because we wish to bring greater transparency to these matters and also because we hope that readers will be informed by our approach and inspired to apply it to their own relationships.
The book began as a diary (mine), became a blog and was eventually completed as a book. So it was quick to complete because most of the work was already done. It's written in first person and in either present or immediate past tense. As such it's very engaging - somewhat of a page turner I'm told. Please enjoy.
