Book Review: Love Weaver by Jennifer Ransom
|5 stars, 1 review|
Jennifer Ransomabout this book: In my romance novel, Love Weaver, I have combined several ideas that interest me and I hope many others! Weaving is a love of mine from the past, so it plays a big role in the life of the main character, Sunnie, a woman born in a small mountain village in Alabama.
After attending college in Tennessee, Sunnie ends up in New York City married to a very successful lawyer. Sunnie has made a splash on the New York art scene with her beautiful woven wall hangings. Life is good -- until she learns of the affair her husband is having with a co-worker.
Betrayal and divorce behind her, Sunnie heads back to her small town in the mountains of Alabama to try to put her life back together. After reconnecting with old high school friends, she comes face to face with some hard, cold realizations about herself and her reactions to life's adversities.
Oh, yes, and there's a love story, one that started in high school, though Sunnie knew nothing about it. An unknown love that put a wedge between her and her best friend. Sunnie never knew why, until she goes home again.

Really Enjoyed This BookWhat can I say? This book just made me feel good. The down-home feel of the Alabama mountain village where everyone knows everyone else. I can relate to this because I too, lived in a big city and ended up moving back home and it was just as interesting getting to know my old friends again and what they had been up too. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I would whole heartedly recommend this book! A great read by this first time author. I am looking forward to Jennifer Ransom's NEXT book. [by Andrea York]
