Allyson R. Abbottabout this book: After giving over 600 books of a short story away for free and only getting 2 reviews in return, it occurred to me, after chatting with friends and family, that a lot of people probably either had no idea how to write a book review, or thought you needed to write a lengthy book report. Most readers also have no idea how important a review is to an author, even a one word review is better than no review. I wanted to tell them. I actually wanted to shout it out.
I came up with the idea to help readers understand more about the importance of book reviews, by writing a book. I also give advice and tips about how to go about writing them. I am no expert, but I am a reader and an author, so I used my experience and knowledge to help others.
It is a short, easy to read book, full of information about reviews from 1 word reviews to how to write a negative review in a constructive manner. I have also revealed some very interesting facts about the reviews for 50 Shades of Grey. Very interesting indeed!
