Myles Gorospe about this book: The first book in the Eternal Series, Revelation is really my take on what the end of the world looks like. We've seen so many different ways of how people think the world will meet its doom, whether that's an asteroid, a virus, and alien invasion or a zombie apocalypse. But I've never really seen anything with the kind of finality that is described and offered by the Book of Revelation. I think that as a the dominant species on this planet (right now at least), we believe that we have it in ourselves to control the ultimate destiny of our own lives and that we believe that whatever the end may look, we have the power, whether technologically, scientifically or even psychologically, to prevent it from happening. But what happens when we're faced with the undeniable fact that when judgement day does come and there are only two options on how things will unfold. Are we truly ready to face the demise of our own world and yet still live a life that has meaning and importance? I present this story as a means to the ultimate end and I for one find the irrefutable conflict between trying to control our own destiny and to accepting the fate of the world which is no longer in our hands. In the end, the reason why I wrote this book was to let myself realize that whatever the end looks like, its still the journey that we all take that will matter. It is not in our demise that we lose hope, but in our continuing desire to do what is right and to love those around us.
