Book: Scandal By The Ton by Virginia Henley

Virginia Henleyabout this book: I wanted to write a novella with a Regency setting. Since I just finished writing a series of four books for Signet, I had done a lot of research on real scandals in this era. I came up with the idea of my heroine being the annonymous author of a gossip column, and the clever book title just popped into my head: SCANDAL BY THE TON.
My author friend Marsha Canham designs all my self-published ebooks, and this one only took a couple of days.
I wanted just a woman on this cover, as my publisher always puts a man on my covers. I chose a woman from a James Tissot painting, because I collect Tissot prints and have them all over my house.
Here's what I want to say to my readers: "If you read one of my books, you'll learn a bit about history, a bit about sex, and a hell of a lot about human nature! As always my hero is dark, dominant and dangerous. Enjoy!
