Book: GOING PUBLIC! Karen Pelotabout this book: I wrote Going Public! to help others overcome the fear of public speaking, and to teach them to present with impact when they have an opportunity. During my college days, I was so terrified to present to the class that I would get physically ill and usually skip the first day that presenting was likely.
Fortunately, after many not so great attempts, I started to put together a recipe that really worked for me. Eventually, as my positional influence increased, I shared my "secrets" with others - and they worked for them too!
In reality, the information contained in GOING PUBLIC is not so mysterious or "secret". Much of it is common sense and practical; but the great thing about becoming an impactful public speaker is that "it ain't rocket science"!
It is my hope that many people will follow the guidance I have provided, and realize the impact they too might have, once they gain the courage and confidence to get out there and get GOING PUBLIC!
