Rasheed Odunade Akande about this book: This my first all round Christian collection of poetry. Attempts were made in previous collections to touch on the theme/ topic of faith and other things that makes up the religious articles or praises. Time after time, I have tried to move close to God and many times I have failed. One day, things changed, I prayed to Almighty Jehovah and that prayer was answered, all other subsequent prayers have been answered too since then. The journey might seem easy to the readers and the book a bit over-fabricated with the pains of persecutions over described but the process of becoming was not an easy one. having to depend on others for livelihood made things harder since these others were of a different faith( infact, the faith from which I was absconding). They remain my family and they made life difficult since I chose and began studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. This is my first true collection of poems dedicated to Jehovah, it centers on the articles of faith, the tale behind my search for the true God, my many failed attempts, trials, persecutions, the pains and agony of rejection, the subtle smiles hiding much hatred in the hearts and minds of those who should understand. This is still my most fulfilling publication to date, attempts are ongoing to continue in this line. I survived the open hatred, in his loyal love, Jehovah protected me. i am grateful indeed.
