Rasheed Odunade Akande about this book: This is a sequence to The Recluse: A Re-Awakening. Written at about the same period, the early months of 2015. A poetry collection on general themes that continues my quest at self-actualization and expression. This collection was written in six whole weeks of sleepless nights, studying and stressing. Like it predecessors, this collection of poetry is another tale telling attempt that delves into the potent areas/ themes of love, disappointment, trust, loss, rejection, death, broken-heart etc. The poem-book is of use to all age grades, it does not contain explicit content, this collection started slowly, picking up pace as the desire rose in my heart to do more after a recess period of two weeks. My attempts in life has been on a general note 'to impress myself', to do more at every point in time than I have done before. I set the stage and I challenge myself. Hope the readers of this collection find it a worthy attempt. Writing has not been easy but it turns out my life's most love activity. It simply takes away my heart from the sorrow and pain that stifles and strangulates.. Thanks, nice reading.
