Tracey Allenabout this book: This book is written from the perspective of a homeowner and was written to encourage others to consider building more sustainable housing. If you are considering building a new house or want to renovate an existing one to take advantage of passive solar then this book is for you. The book was written throughout the construction of the house and while the cover is the original design from the architect the house looks slightly different. Although there was no research involved when writing the book, there was a ton of research done prior to deciding and building the house. The hardest part of writing the book was the jungling of building, writing, and working all at the same time.
