Lori Hinesabout this book: Caves of the Watchers is the second book in The Ancient Ones series, inspired by my life and experiences as a paranormal investigator. The themes of this series include Arizona history, Native American history, archaeology and the supernatural.
The Arizona-Irish Paranormal Research Society is a fictional ghost hunting team that works with the FBI to solve supernatural cases in Arizona and the Four Corners. The team members, including psychic medium Lorelei Lanier, have unusual abilities and talents that help the FBI solve the murder cases.
I have an avid interest in archaeology, so include a lot of factual elements in the books. Caves of the Watchers takes the reader through an underground realm including caverns, tunnels and monoliths. Travel through historic Wickenburg, Arizona and journey to Bryce Canyon and Shiprock, New Mexico to discover what awaits Lorelei and her team.
I am working on the third novel in the series, titled Anasazi Whispers, which takes place at Hovenweep National Monument and Canyon of the Ancients in the Four Corners.
