Maeve Alpin about this book: A Steampunk/paranormal/Romance with a Celtic Twist. The heroine is the ghost of a Celtic Warrior who died fighting Julius Caesar. I wanted to write a Stemapunk Ghost hunting book. The main readers are those sixteen and older who like Steampunk, paranormal romances, historical romances, steampunk romances. I wanted the title to reflect as best as possible that it was steampunk and a romance so I came up with To Love A London Ghost. My publisher had he cover done, I love the cover, I think it's brilliant. Figuring out how the ghost dibillitator machine would work, and how to write love scenes with a ghost. I learned about how dangerous eh work houses were for the children, how the kids had to work at machines for hours on end and many of had fingers missing from getting them caught in and cut off by the machines. I also learned about the children working in the match factories and the horrible dangers they faced. I learned details about Victorian clothing. I learned that Queen Victoria actually put whiskey in her tea. I would for readers to try To Love A London Ghost, meet my characters Sexton and Ceridwen. I feel you'll find them interesting and that you'll enjoy them immensely and the their wonderful adventure in recovering kidnapped ghosts from a mad scientist.
