Book Review: Elsewhere by Linda Lee Williams

Linda Lee Williamsabout this book: Elsewhere is the story of a young schizophrenic woman and the men she loves--but is one of them real, or imaginary?
I wanted to write a paranormal romance about two people who were "less than perfect." Andie is a sympathetic heroine, Errol an empathetic hero, who supports her despite her disability. Her mental illness is the antagonist, more so than Noah...the man of her dreams.
Part of the story takes place on a mystical tropical island--hence, the title Elsewhere. I wanted an illusory cover that showed the heroine and hero against that setting, with the mysterious stranger, who threatens their relationship, lurking in the background...
I spent three years researching and writing my novel. Misinformation abounds about schizophrenia, and many stigmas are attached to the mental illness. I strove for a book that was compassionate and enlightening, but still entertaining.
If you're someone that likes contemporary romance with a paranormal twist, a little something "out of the ordinary," you might enjoy my story.

Emotional StoryI felt every emotion as I read this book. I could feel the turmoil Andie goes through when she is faced with true love versus a paranormal encounter. Having a degree in Behavioral Health Science, I can honestly say that the feelings and the emotions for Andie's emotional and mental problems are spot on. Enter Errol with his own affliction. The story really twisted my heart. Wonderful book! [by Carole McKee]
