K. M. McFarlandabout this book: Under a Bourbon Street Moon is the second installment in the Vampyr series. The story begins four years from when Song of the Vampire ended. On Mardi Gras night, the vampires Quinn, Tristan, Nadia, Giselle, Michael and Evan are gathered in Quinn's Bourbon Street apartment over his bar, Vampyr, enjoying the final moments of the season. Giselle discovered Quinn was actually a reincarnation of her pianist/composer lover Myles, a vampire who was killed in 1860. She and Quinn have found their way to one another again.
Quinn has just purchased another bar on St. Charles Avenue; a piano bar called Stiletto that will cater to mortals. His biggest challenge is finding the right people to staff the new club until Pam, a beautiful mortal woman from his past, and adorable country singer Amber Rose, who has just arrived from Nashville, enter his world. As time passes, Giselle begins to realize Quinn is much different from Myles and their relationship is challenged. Someone from Nadia's past encourages the vampires to move to the Saint Charles Avenue home. The home is haunted by a ghost from Tristan's past, and his younger years before he was turned are revealed. This will have a major influence on all of them.
