Tiana Laveenabout this book: This is the fourth novels of the, "Saint series", by Tiana Laveen. Technically, it is book 6 since two books of the series, were double novels but for these purposes, we will call it book 4.
In this installment, people from the past come out of the woodwork, causing havoc in the Aknaten household. Saint discovers some people simply can not ley bygones be bygones. His career is on the line, and all could come tumbling down like a line of dominoes if he is not careful. Xenia, his wife, is in over her head as she deals with three people, all different motivations, that are causing her an alarming amount of stress and causing her harm - sometimes obvious, some under the guise of friendship and renewal.
This book is about trusting those that have hurt us, and what it means to respect and love someone, even if you have to do so from a distance. We also get to see Saint's family growing, despite adversity. Saint's gifts are even further revealed, as well as we take a look at Saint's father, Osaze, Jagger's life and battles and fall in love with Lawrence, being the peace maker that he is, a bit more.
Saint books are a lot of fun to write, but they do take a lot of work as well for one of my main missions is to show growth in character as well as graduate the people in these tales, to a higher level, should it be warranted.
