Mary Morganabout this book: The Order of the Dragon Knights is a blending of Irish and Scottish Mythology. I started the Order in Ireland and after a battle, the Dragon Knights fled to the Great Glen in Scotland. These warriors are part Fae, from the Irish Tuatha De Dannan, and the other half human. Each of these men have an elemental power—storms, water, land, and fire. Their tale is about finding redemption, and love will be their salvation.
Dragon Knight's Axe is the story of Alastair "Beast" MacKay. The youngest brother of the Dragon Knights, he is the most haunted by the death of his sister, Margaret. His power is from the land, so he flees to the seas to disconnect himself from the land—a form of self-punishment. While he is in Ireland, he rescues a woman from a slave trader.
Fiona O'Quinlan is a research assistant at Trinity College. Her life is altered when she falls asleep on an archaeological dig and awakes in medieval Ireland. Past and present collide when she encounters "Beast" MacKay.
Their journey will lead them from the shores of Ireland to the Highlands of Scotland. Where battles will be fought and both must decide if love can tame the beast and heal the man.

• "From the moment you meet this scarred warrior defying the sea god, you know you've met the original bad boy. I imagine if he had been born in this century he'd be in a kilt and motorcycle leather." — DIANNE
