Harlan Harlan Vaughnabout this book: Hi, readers! Here Lies Death is a re-imagining of the social shift that's predicted to commence on December 21, 2012. It is, at its core, a philosophical meditation on death and human nature. It's also a love story. I started writing this book in January 2012, and put it out by September 2012. This was after many long days of writing, editing, more editing, and rewriting. It was an absolute pleasure.
So far, I've gotten a lot of varied response about the book's content. It's polarizing. You're either going to love it or hate it. Some parts are very graphic and violent, but only to contrast it with the emotional "violence". It's got an overall heavy tone.
I painted the image for the cover (I'm a painter too). It's a scene from the middle of the book. You'll have to read to see which one... ;)
I'm proud to say this book has gotten 1, 2, 3, 4, AND 5 star reviews. If you like urban fantasy, paranormal fiction, indie authors, or contemporary fiction, I'd recommend this book for you.
