B. J. Mearsabout this book: No vamps, no werewolves here, but I promise you a new paranormal experience.
Tyler May is a fourteen year old school girl who gets dragged into a fast moving ghostly adventure. She and her friends are forced to face a new evil with an old root.
I chose to title the book 'The Haunting of Tyler May' because it is a ghost story of sorts, though it is more of an adventure/mystery. Strictly speaking, Tyler isn't the one being haunted. Neither is she a ghost, but to say more here would be a plot spoiler. All will become clear as you turn the pages...
This story really was inspired by a conversation with my eldest daughter, who had just devoured Harry Potter. It's nothing like Harry Potter, but I think if you liked that, you'll probably like this.
The three primary characters in the story are roughly inspired by my three daughters.
• 'LEGENDARY!' — Henna (age 11, Chesterfield)
• 'Gripping from the outset.' — Naomi (teacher, Bristol)
• '...desperate for the next instalment.' — Matt (Newport)
