Melissa Wolffabout this book: This book is more than just a mystery. It's more than a sleuthing teenager who is trying to find the truth. The main character of this book is physically disabled; she has a prosthetic leg. Despite being disabled, the main character pushes herself to her limits and never lets anything stop her. She doesn't care that she's disabled and works through it instead of wallowing in her own self pity.
I was inspired to write this book because I've read thousands of books and yet have not read one book that has a disabled character in it. That disappoints me because I am disabled myself. I wanted to write a book that other disabled people can relate to and therefore will become more comfortable with who they are. I always like to know that there's someone out there, even if it's a stranger, who may understand my struggles and problems.
I hope this book will give more young adults interest to read and understand that it doesn't matter the struggles you are faces, that you can do whatever you put your mind to...even if that is just finding a serial killer.
