Les Farleyabout this book: In every other mystery, the officials are looking for the guilty party. However, in my book, someone has knowledge about the girl's death and isn't forthcoming. The sheriff knows this by the notes that are being left. His frustration is in trying to figure out who knows and he proceeds to concoct a way to bring out this witness.
The reviews from my readers are telling me that they approve of the picturesque town and its interesting characters and the freshness of the story which is free of profanities or adult content.
"An Unlikely Source" took approximately sixty hours to write over seven months. It is not lengthy because I did not want the reader to become bogged down with having to read through 'filler'. It is only 93 pages because sometimes one might want a quick read and this one is a good weekend relaxation.
I am pleased with it but I am more pleased that the readers enjoy it.
