Robert K. Swisher Jr. about this book: Minnesota in the winter is so cold snow wants to go to Florida. So why are Roosevelt and his guardian angel in Minnesota? Roosevelt swears he is going to find the love of his life in Saint Ansgar - it came to him in a dream. His guardian angel laughs and warns him all you are going to find are witches, more than one murder, and a Raven that will only lie to you. Of course Roosevelt ignores his guardian angel and rents a room from a lady that only wants Roosevelt for his body, which bothers him as he is looking for a woman that wants him for his mind. It all goes south with two murdered cats, a stolen glass heart, too many murders to count, and a sad little boy with no friends. Roosevelt's guardian angel goes on a bummer because Roosevelt never listens to him. "When you finally get killed trying to find your center you will miss me," he tells Roosevelt. Roosevelt replies, "When I get killed I want to come back as a guardian angel. By being around you I know the job does not take much intelligence." A funny run in with witches.
