Gaynor Madoc Leonardabout this book: A Meeting of Dragons is the second in a four-book series about The Carmarthen Underground, an intelligence organisation in the South Wales town of Carmarthen. The books show an alternative view of this ancient town; anyone who has been there then or who knows it will recognise the street names and even the local shops and cafes but this Carmarthen exists in a parallel world. In the books, it is less than half a century since the last great battle against the English took place and the fight continues for Wales's freedom and autonomy. Lest anyone think that this sounds rather grim, the books are leavened with a great deal of humour and a touch of mysticism - they are meant to be fun.
Several reviewers of the first novel in the series have stated that they sat down to read and didn't stop until they reached the end of the book.
