Diana J. Febryabout this book: I was inspired to write this book when I discovered the hard way what happens when you ruffle the feathers of a vindictive bully and liar and then stand your ground.
I wrote the book as a distraction to the appauling behaviour and to avoid falling into the trap of retaliation until I could escape the situation.
The theme of the book is really the lengths people will go to hide their dirty little secrets. I also included my personal knowledge of being in debt, my experience of the horsey community and a childhood summer spent in Northern Ireland in the late 1970s.
I'm not trying to preach anything, just tell a story. But if there is a message it is probably telling lies can lead to all sorts of situations.I hope readers will enjoy my novel firstly as a story but if it makes them think a little about why people behave the way they do, then that is an added bonus.
