Tammy Maas about this book: I present to you my debut novella, A Complicated Life in a Small Town. I had no intentions of writing a sequel to this story but readers are demanding more. Typically, this book is read in one sitting and then I receive a message from the reader telling me how much they liked the story and then demanding more. I am working hard on the sequel and hope to have it completed soon. The book is an easy read, perfect for traveling or those nights when you just want to curl up and read beginning to end. The book is a mystery with a morbidly obese character that has a medical condition called Prader-Willi Syndrome.
Lydia Lawson leaves home and never looks back believing her parents are gone from her life forever. She leads a quiet, calm life until she receives a phone call telling her that her mother is dead and that she has a half-sister she wasn't aware of. Lydia attempts to find her sisters father and discovers a whole lot more along the way. You'll devour the pages and then curse me for the ending.
