 One Deadly Night

The local news rag was full of crap going on in the city. It wandered from corruption in politics to the seedy crime circles and domestic explosions. I'd checked the 4 obits to see what was shaking there and cruised the want ads and classifieds. You never know where people will choose to put ads for help from guys like me. Nothing caught my eye. I was turning the pages to peruse the sports section. It was one of those quiet nights when the Big City seemed to be taking a nap. I was just thinking about slipping over to Jazzy Bluzz for a beer and a burger when the phone rang. I snatched it up and started my spew. "QJ Rouge Investi........." I was cut off. It was Skinny Martin. I could hear the fear in his voice.

It's a great afternoon read or a read for the ride to work or read it before you go to sleep. If you love a mystery thriller then read this book.
