Walter Parksabout this book: Corpus De Licti is based on a true story. Brad kills his rival and tries to get rid of the body but the body keeps returning and returning, again and again.
When I first heard this true story I knew I would have to write it as a book. I believe readers who enjoy murder mysteries and quirky characters will enjoy this book.
I jotted down the story about 12 years ago when I first heard it but did not get around to publishing it until recently. A key to the story is that the authorities do not have a body, i.e. a Corpus De Licti and therefore cannot prosecute; and hence the title Corpus De Licti.
I am particular proud of the characters in the story who are almost all connected to acting. They have very unique and varied characteristics, and very quick and witty minds. I loved working with such actors when I was making films at Universal Studios.
In writing this book I learned a great deal about how to interrelate characters. I believe readers will enjoy their interplay and the basic story.
