P.J. Erickson about this book: Yokche, my first novel, started a long learning curve for me, like an adventure in wonderland. Where to start? Well, the setting was an easy choice. I live in Florida and it is a state of great diversity where one can always find somewhere new and different to explore. What to write? I am an avid fan of mystery/adventure books and so I wanted to try my hand at that. I read crime too, but thought that a bit beyond my grasp at the time. So far, so good. Next I needed a protagonist, someone a little bit off center. That wasn't difficult either. My husband has ridden motorcycles for over forty years and the biker folk that we know are like an extended family. They don't care who you are or what you do, their bikes form a common bond and level the playing field. I don't know what's out there now, but at the time I couldn't find any mystery/adventure fiction that would appeal to that community and so Chase Larsen was born and he roared out on his first adventure. What a wild ride it was.
Amazon UK review - ...My only disappointment is that there aren't more books like this from the author - there ought to be 20 or 30 of them in the series.. and I'd read them all ...
