Linda Nanceabout this book: Have you ever looked out a window in the dark of night and wondered who or what might be looking in? Lara knew that feeling and more. She would have to find the answers to that to stop her problems but also to survive. If her new friends were too good to be true or her only hope, would be something she would have to live to learn. Working together might be enough to save her and find answers but the instigators of her problems would also bond together creating a nightmare that would increase to deadly proportions. Journey Home is a story of mystery, suspense, a touch or romance, friendship, betrayal and treachery that takes Lara on a journey of life to find her way home to a home in the heart as well as location.
This is the first novel I wrote but the second one published. When asked how long it took me to write it I have no exact answer except that life go in the way. Years ago I encouraged my daughter to write a short story and she requested I write one of my own. This may be one of the longest short stories ever but once I started it was a story that took on a life of it's own. I wanted it to be the best that it could be. I enrolled in the State University and took courses enabling me to develop it and make it more.
When it came time to make a cover I wanted this and all of my books to be special from cover to cover and all that is in between. I decided to use one of my own paintings. There is a path in the painting and I hope it leads the way home. I want readers to enjoy the story from beginning to end and the end be one that they will not soon forget. I want them to be able to see the places, hear the voices and know the characters enough they will always remember and want more.
