about this book: Murder Is Served is a collection of short mysteries that readers can try to solve before they read the solution.
I wrote the book because many of the characters (fortune tellers and actors, society hostesses, gamblers, politicians, reporters, detectives) were featured in my interactive mystery plays; I became very attached to them and wanted to preserve them in a book. The primary readers are people who like mysteries and sifting through clues and information to solving them. They would appeal to readers who like puzzles with a little humor,"cozy" mysteries. The cover, a butler holding a plateful of weapons is, I thought, a good play on the title, "Murder Is Served". The hardest part of writing the book was deciding who was guilty because, as I said, I became attached to all of the characters.
I'd like to invite my readers to try to solve the mystery before they read the solution and to let me know which ones they were able to solve.
what to read next: if you read and liked this book...

Twist and Turns
The Book Murder Is Served is a awesome book with interesting characters and twist and turning solutions. It makes wanting for more mysteries to solve. The characters are well defined and you feel like you are there as the detective. I have read Barbara Fox 2 other books Murder in the Inn and Murder in Another Inn. I hope she writes more books.
