Book: It's Not as Bad as it Sounds (my life with MS & Fibro) by Yvonne Decelis

Yvonne Decelisabout this book: I am a fellow "MSer" who has relapsing-remitting Multiple Sclerosis as well as Fibromyalgia. I really just want to help as many people as I possibly can. I was inspired to write this book by a support group I joined years ago. When I first heard I had MS I thought it meant I would wake up one morning unable to move. I had no idea how big the world of MS and "invisible disabilities" can be. I have found ways to make my life... tolerable (most of the time, anyway). I want to share with others things that may help them. I also want to show others that they are not alone. Last but certainly not least: I want to teach healthy people how to (and how NOT to) interact with us.
By the way: I hope my title does not offend you. I know that things can feel every bit as bad as they sound for us at times (often for many of us, constantly for some). I chose the name to convey a sense of hope and strength (which so many of us have in abundance) and because for most people MS is not a "death sentence".
