D.G. Kayeabout this book: Meno-What? A Memoir was written based on my own experiences going through the ups and downs of the menopausal years. I wanted to incorporate my sense of humor through this book because my motto in life is "If you can't laugh, what's the point of existing?" My intent when writing this book was to give women who have not yet and soon to be crossing this threshold in life a heads up of some of the pitfalls of menopause which we encounter while sharing some of the methods I used to help alleviate some of those symptoms. I had readers in their twenties enjoying this book as a preview into their future for things to come. And for those who have already been there in life, it can be a humorous reminisce. I chose the cover with my graphic artist using flames as the symbol for hot flashes and the crooked font in the title to denote the slight edge of humor content to the book along with the fact that the material is nonfiction.
Editorial Review: "D.G. Kaye rips back the curtain on menopause, exposing the humor and honesty required to survive one of the most important and life-altering stages of a woman's life." — Jeannie M. Bushnell, author of Manual Exposure
