Christine Waltersabout this book: My book is about growing up with a mentally ill mother and the impact of abuse displayed from her and my father. The benefit my book offers to readers is learning how to cope from lose, forgiving the people who done the unthinkable, healing for the soul and mind. Determination on not giving up on life is what inspired me to write my book. My primary readers are in the category of mental health, abuse, teens and young adults, loss and grief, relations with parents and inspirational. I always knew I was going to write a book but I started Ginny and Me: Reflections of What God Can Do in 2011 after the passing of my mom. The hardest part of writing my book was reliving the details of my mother's death. However, sharing her passing is an important piece to my book. I did a lot of research about the hospital my mom lived in. The hospital is a historic site. I chose the title for my book thinking of my mom life and mine and the subtitle because God is the instrument in both our lives. The cover was very important to me it reflects the title. My mom favorite color was blue which is why the cover is blue. I wanted the front cover made into the picture taken of just my mom and me when I was a baby. I want to say to the readers that you can overcome anything that has happened to you in life, it's not easy but with God everything is possible. Overcoming anything takes will power, healthy thinking, and faith without doubting yourself and forgiveness not only of others but forgiving yourself too. Keep striving for better and never give up on your dreams.
